What does this mean for our active users of WinPOS: This means that WinPOS will remain active and supported by our system support team, however the product itself have no upgrades or further development. As a result, WinPOS will only receive emergency/security patches going forward.
Why is NBC doing this: NBC has identified opportunity gaps that further development of WinPOS would not address. As a result, we have developed additional products, including PRISM60, that we believe will better support our customers needs in the future. Technology is constantly evolving and NBC prides itself on recognizing and responding when opportunities are identified.
